Precautions
- Not recommended if using Hormonal contraceptives such as the oral contraceptive pill (OCP), implant devices (Implanon or Nuva Ring), or contraceptive injections (Depo Vera) as it may decrease the contraceptive action – can be used safely with an intra-uterine-device (IUD) both the progesterone or Copper IUD.
- Not recommended for use in pregnancy, especially after 12 weeks – may be used at a ½ dose in the first trimester if previously taking Fem21 prior to getting pregnant.
- Not recommended whilst exclusively breastfeeding, generally safe after baby is 6 months.
- If using medication we recommend separating the dose of Fem21 by 2 hours due to it's high fibre content
- Not recommended if undergoing active treatment for hormonal dependent cancers

How it works?
As a Naturopath I wanted to create a formulation which supports women's health holistically. The beautifully balanced Fem21 formula supports many functions in the body, so you can experience improved health and happiness while functioning at your best.
Balances Hormones
Fem21's unique formulation of herbs and superfoods supports healthy oestrogen levels and promotes progesterone production. We have included herbs that also support our adrenal and thyroid hormones, this is crucial for maintaining healthy hormones long term.
Supports Gut Health
Our unique blend of probiotics helps to support the microbiome and create a healthy balance of good bacteria. Fem21 is rich in soluble and insoluble fibre, which helps our bowels to move regularly. Fibre is very important for our hormonal health as it binds toxic hormonal metabolites and carries them out of the body.
Enhances Liver Cleansing
Detoxifying and supporting liver function is very important for keeping your body healthy and your hormones in balance. Your liver does the majority of hormonal metabolism as well as clearing the body of toxins.

How does it taste?
Fem21 is an all natural herbal greens drink. As such it has an earthy green taste. We don't use any flavours or anything artificial. So after mixing your Fem21 powder into a drink (either water, juice or smoothie) consume immediately as will thicken over time. Taste is subjective some people love it others struggle with the texture. The most important thing is what it's doing for your body and I'm sure you'll find a way of having it daily that you love. It's not meant to be fun, but functional, save your fun drinks for the weekend.
Do I need extra water?
Yes, as Fem21 is high in fibre we recommend increasing your water intake by at least 500ml / day, please ensure you're drinking 2L / day in total of filtered water.
What if I have a sensitive gut?
If you have a sensitive stomach we suggest starting on a ½ scoop and building up to a full dose. If are still feeling bloated after the initial 2 weeks of being on fem21 then reduce your dose to a ½ scoop and slowly build up.
How long do I need take it?
We recommend consistent daily use for a minimum of 3-4 months to balance your hormones. However to maintain results we recommend sticking with it long term.
Are there different doses for weight or age?
- If your weight is less than 50kg or if you're under 15 y.o. we recommend a ½ scoop / day
- If your weight is above 90-100kg we recommend 2 scoops / day
Tips for oestrogen dominance?
If you're working on oestrogen dominance do a second dose in your luteal phase (for roughly 2 weeks after ovulation) until your period arrives.
Tips for amenorrhea?
If your period is absent (amenorrhea) please follow the moon phases, with 1 scoop / day from new moon to full moon (roughly 2 weeks) then 2 scoops / day from full moon to new moon or until your period arrives.
